  • Eurosite

    Eurosite is a European network for conservation that provides networking, capacity building, training, information and advocacy services for conservation professionals across Europe.
    Its members and partners are organisations and individuals working and concerned with land and nature conservation in governmental and civil society organisations within and outside the European Union.

    They work on a wide range of issues and geographical levels, with a strong interest in the practical aspects of day-to-day wilderness management, restoration, as well as in the implementation of nature conservation policies inside and outside protected areas.

  • FORUM OF LAND STEWARDSHIP NETWORKS AND ENTITIES

    The Forum of Land Stewardship Networks and Entities (FRECT) is a representative body of the collective of land stewardship entities in Spain as a whole. As a third level entity, it constitutes an area for collaboration and debate for the strengthening of land stewardship.

    Its aim is to work strategically and jointly for the institutional, social, legal and technical promotion at state level of the concept of land stewardship and its application in the management and conservation of natural, cultural and landscape heritage.

  • FERNANDO GONZÁLEZ BERNÁLDEZ FOUNDATION/EUROPARC-SPAIN

    The Fernando González Bernáldez Inter-University Foundation for Natural Areas is a university foundation, created in 1996 at the initiative of the Complutense, Autónoma de Madrid and Alcalá Universities and professors linked to the intellectual legacy of the ecologist Fernando González Bernáldez. EUROPARC-Spain, a professional forum for protected areas in Spain, has joined its Board of Trustees.

    In this way, the vocation of this foundation is to contribute to the exchange and mutual learning between the academic, university and research sphere and the world of nature management and conservation, favouring the conservation and management of protected areas and natural spaces in general, as well as the promotion of their benefits for society.

  • GLOBAL NATURE FOUNDATION

    The Global Nature Foundation is a private non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection of nature. Its work is based on technical rigour, ethical commitment and innovation. Since its consolidation in 1993, the foundation has been committed to combining the development of strategies and plans with field work and applied projects.

    Its activity is divided into three main blocks: conservation of habitats and species, sustainability of the agri-food and corporate sectors, although the actions and projects that make up each thematic area are interrelated.

  • SEO/BirdLife

    SEO/BirdLife, the Spanish Ornithology Society, is the oldest environmental NGO in Spain. Founded in 1954, its mission, with birds as its banner, is to conserve biodiversity with the participation and involvement of society. It is also the representative organisation of BirdLife International in Spain, a federation that brings together associations dedicated to bird conservation all over the world. It is the largest global bird and nature conservation organisation, with representatives in 121 countries and mobilising approximately 13 million members and sympathisers worldwide.

  • NATURE CONSERVATION NETWORK

    The Nature Conservation Network (XCN) is a non-profit organisation declared of public utility. It is made up of associations, foundations, public administrations, companies, universities and research centres. Its mission is to promote the conservation of nature through social involvement, mainly through environmental stewardship and volunteer organisations that the XCN supports and with which it works collaboratively, and by establishing alliances to make human activities compatible with the sustainability of ecosystems.
